  • POSSE COMITATUS: Does anybody even know what it is, care, or care that Bush repealed it?
Posse Comitatus was set up by Abraham Lincoln. It states that the military cannot be used to police civilians. That's not what it's for. But Bush signed it away. And then this year the military began deploying to America, to police civilians and "quell unrest".
Now we have Marines at DUI checkpoints.
Gee, our country isn't becoming more heavy-handed, is it?
How long til we see guys with machine guns everywhere?
Didn't Eisenhower warn us to watch out for an ever-growing military-industrial complex?

  • CARTOONS: New Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD (Vol. 6) contains 4 unaired episodes!

  • EFFICIENCY: New font uses holes to cut ink use
Sounds awesome. I'm installing it to save on my own ink. Not even for the environment, but for money's sake! The environment is a nice bonus to being frugal and conserving everything!

  • FREEDOM: US Jail and Prison Population Hits All-Time (Again) — 2.3 Million Behind Bars, Including More Than Half a Million Drug Offenders
Since 2000, our prison population has grown 15%, while our total population has increased by only 6.4%. At no point were we not the leading per capita incarcerator of human beings — we put more in jail than anyone else in the planet. Total numbers, percentages — no matter how you look at it. (This doesn't count our secret prisons, of course. Just sayin'.)

How long is the American public going to continue to vote for the 2 parties who have thrown trillions down the black hole of the failed drug war, eroded our freedoms, and jailed people at an unparalleleld rate?
