Under The Berne Convention, Apple would of course still retain their copyright. But under U.S. law, they can't sue over that same copyright.
Pystar is doing what they can to keep Apple from doing douchier things to the PC market than Microsoft would have ever dreamed up — can you imagine if Windows only worked on PCs sold by Microsoft?
Here's hoping they win, as unlikely as it may be.

I think our capitalist notions are basically justifying the murder of people by depriving them from food because they don't have the money to pay for it. It's pretty bad being the ONLY country to vote against a right. But this is a close follow-up to us being the freest country to vote against gay marriage rights.
Basically, America uses their veto position with the UN to deprive the rest of the world of rights. Both economicly via forcing globalist agnedas, and directly via votes like this.
We're not a bastion of freedom; the world would be freer if we weren't ejaculating our politics all over it.

How would you like it if they criiminalized email, because you might send a story about child porn via email? This is what is happening here: They are trying to ban an entire technology becuase it MIGHT be used for a crime.
Nevermind that BitTorrent is the most efficient and cheap way to distribute files. Why do you think World Of Warcraft uses it for updates?
This takes the whole "gun control" mentality to a new extreme — don't let people use ANYTHING that MIGHT be used for a crime. (
Pro-Gun Control people are already anti-freedom anyway.)

1) They went to the wrong house:2 blocks away.
2) The girl is 12, and not even the same race as the police report. She was, of course, black. The police report was for WHITE prostitutes. But this is TEXAS, one of the cultural shitholes of the country.
3) They hospitalzed her. Black eyes. Throat injuries. Ear drum injuries.
4) 3 weeks later, they went to her high school (where she is an honor student), and arrested her for assaulting a public servant — because she resisted the unidentified men who were trying to arrest her. They arrested the dad too."The city has investigated the matter and found that the conduct of the police officers was appropriate under the circumstances."
Oh fucking really? These police deserve to be savagely beaten, and to never work in law enforcement again. I want names.
