An important tip to share with anyone who is just had oral surgery, or possibly some teeth removed:
Wendys Frosties have high medicinal value!

Wendys Frosties have high medicinal value!
I had briefly mentioned this when I blogged about my 2nd oral surgery. You see, I’ve had a Radicular cyst removed from the gums beneath where my bottom-left molar used to be… Twice:
Basically — wounds hurt, and cold makes hurting stop. Eating hurts, and eating liquids is less painful. Often you can ONLY eat liquids after a surgery. Enter the Wendys Frosty. A high-calorie liquid food that is also cold. It’s not as thick as ice cream, but not as thin as a milkshake. It exists in the state of limbo between a solid and a liquid. It’s malleable enough to apply directly to a wound without exhering any pressure on it — unlike ice cream from the freezer (even if you microwave it, it will melt to a liquid completely before eating it; a Frosty wont). As it melts, it soothes you with intense chocolate goodness, keeps your wound numb, and nourishes you. Yea, they’re mostly empty calories, but they still nourish. And it’s not like one can eat a healthy salad after a sugery.
So remember. After surgery, go to Wendys. I got 10 frosties at once. I didn’t use them all, so they were a nice treat to the friends that hung out with me that weekend.

hehehe good post!
I remember when I had my wisdom teeth out in 2007, I asked Mom for a Frosty. She came back with a McDonald’s milkshake instead.
“This is better,” she explained, “It has real milk in it.”
But really… I just wanted a Frosty.
