Putting up flyers has been protected speech for quite some time. No other cities are freaking out. But florida: The state where you could go to jail for listening to an NWA song in your own home, the state where people are facing 5 yrs for flashing gangsigns on their myspace page — of course wants to levy federal and local charges against people for speaking out and putting up a flyer most people find unpopular and in bad taste.
Freedom isn't free: It comes with the price of having to see things you don't want to see. Grow the fuck up, Florida.
Darren Gray? Eric Jensen? Maybe you should move to a country that doesn't have free speech, because you're acting like an unconstitutional asshole. Were there any other investigations of this size for other flyers? Or is this simply becuase it's about Obama?
Good stuff! Reminds me of Code Monkeys…
Tased for going 5MPH over … when posing no threat. Real nice. Those'll be some cop-hatin' kids of hers. Oh, they left the kids alone (strangers watched them!) for 40 minutes after that.
Funny how 8 months later, the "investigation" still isn't concluded. $50K a year for a piece of shit deputy like Sean Andrews? Fire the pig.
Remember when tasers were introduced as a way to keep the police from shooting us? But without a taser, he wouldn't have shot her, would he? The taser helps create situations of compliance by torture.
And of course: All charges against her were dropped after the video was viewed by the D.A. Because they know the pig was full of shit. Disorderly conduct? That's what a cop arrests someone for when they don't have a real charge. Resisting arrest? That's what they charge you when they tase you, to help justify it.
In the end, she was arrested for speeding without a radar gun being used, and her children were left with utter strangers in a deserted van.
Considering I found this via the official Chemlab blog (which I RSS, of course), I think this would be the official YouTube channel of Jared, the leader of Chemlab.
Funny how tasers are never used in these situations. They THINK he has a gun, and he doesn't, so they shoot him in the fucking face?
He didn't *do* anything. He broke no law, committed no crime. All he did is not answer his phone or door.
And they took away his son and convinced him to plea to "harassment", even tho he never left his own house! What the fuck?
You gotta love internal police reviews. Basically, they find that the cops are always justified. I wonder if *i* could think, "omg, that person might have a gun!", shoot them in the face, and get away with it? The answer to that is generally No.
Just saving this link for myself, really. In case I need to cut-and-paste into EvilLyrics.
I'm ecstatic that she's finally working on a new album, and had 5 downloadable tracks (3 new singles, an old demo, and a remix) at her website.
She was in Pigface, Crunch, was the original singer for Garbage but left on day 1, recorded the first Faith No More demos with Courtney Love (but they were erased), and bumped into Carolyn's boobs at the Black Cat where we missed a show we didn't know she was playing (but we saw her once elsewhere).
Her Genre?: Industrial — but weird. Kind of her own genre.
Save your PS2 laser's life.
Do this, and you can install HDLoader on an unmodded PS2.
Granted, *one* step requires a modded PS2, in order to put the exploit on the memory card. But lots of people have modded PS2s.
Once installed, you can shift games to an old harddrive, sparing your PS2s laser and greatly extending its life.
If your console is unmodded, you will only be able to shift original games.
If your console is modded, then just burn HDLoader to a disc and run it; you don't need this.
They actually had someone get on camera and state that in the eyes of the federal government, birth control pills are just as dangerous as heroin.
Stupid people like Tessie Wilson shouldn't breed.
Here's a non-video article, for the humorless:
Help Nels Martin's mother find out how her son died. This is a victim blog looking for information or witnesses to the police shooting of Nels Martin.
What… The… Fuck?!?!! Hello, first amendment? Freedom of speech/press/expression!
The Heil Hitler sign is constitutionally protected, and is associated with a lot more harm than a gang!
Flicking someone off is constitutionally protected too, though police still arrest people over it due to their egos.
I'm sorry, but they're my hands. I will do what I want with them. And I will post it online if I want. This is an egregious abuse of the most basic rights outlined in the constitution.
It's like the police and dickhead Republicans like Rep. William D. Snyder think that laws can be selectively applied. Snyder should move to China or Saudi Arabia. His mentality will be much more accepted over there than here.
Gang member or not, these people should have their charges dropped. Charge criminals for real crimes; don't make up bullshit excuses that tie up our system and waste taxpayer money.
