Yes, they also hit & run, give false information to police, and generally drive dangerously because they are paid to. And now we’re supposed to let them text while driving? FUCK TRUCKS.
Oh, look at them whine. It costs $1.50 per minute if they have to pull over. When you die in a truck accident, you will die to save some corporation $1.50.
Truck accidents are now 12% of all highway fatalities. Remove the drunk drivers and that would be much higher.
4,777 deaths in 1997, 4808 deaths in 2007. Way more than 911 — a truck is a far greater threat to your life than Al Queda or Terrorists.

She bought Zyrtec-D at a pharmacy for her husband.
Then she bought Mucinex-D at a pharmacy for her daughter. And in the war-on-drugs prohibitionist madness, she was arrested for daring to purchase more than 3 grams of psuedoephidrine products within a 7 day period.
‘Cause, y’know, you COULD make meth or cat with that. And her picture was on the front page of her local paper, under the headline “17 Arrested In Drug Sweep”. Nice.
It’s pretty funny that we give amphetamine to our soldiers, but then put people in jail when they give it to themselves. And the establishment pulls out no stops — they talk about meth babies. Remember crack babies? Turns out, those babies were just fine, and were not measurably any different. It’s just a way to demonize a drug for a few years. Alcohol and nicotine mess up babies more, but we allow those!

This really tested me hard!
Round 1: I got 11/20, Carolyn got 13/20.
Round 2: I got 17/20, Carolyn got 16/20.
I learned some things. -
This is super-scary stuff that would be ignored or shrugged off by most people. The local sheriff has no idea why they are patrolling — in cars stating “police department” on them. They are not the police there. They are patrolling a city with no jurisdiction, arresting people as they see fit — and likely filling them in a private jail that they are running.
Police & Sheriff’s departments should be manned by neighbors, not mercenaries.

Too bad we can’t read books as fast as in The Matrix.

The men were told they had 24 hours to get off the property or be arrested. Within another 72 hours they must be registered with a new address. The problem is — there’s no place compliant. It was their probation officers who told them the woods was the only compliant place for them.
Murderers get out of prison all the time and aren’t subjected to conditions like this. It’s like we value our crotches more than our lives. One of these men was 15 when placed on the list.
Now what? Back to jail? It’s almost like double jeopardy. You serve your time, but we make new laws that you can’t follow that put you back in jail a 2nd time.
