I hope no actual writing for the remake is done. I wouldn't want to see the Toxic Avenger canon changed very much. Still, this is great news! Maybe The Toxic Avenger will finally get the recognition he's always deserved?

LimeWire Pirate Edition: Google it, run it. The MAFIAA can't stop the will of the people. Information prevails in the end. HAH!

Taking away land that wasn't theirs: One settlement at a time. Boil that frog slowly. Ignore the wishes of the US and everyone else. They want peace, but make no concessions. Keep stealing that land. Keep burning down their mosques. Keep killing them at a 100 to 1 ratio.

Because he is involved in a huge corporation, prosecutors are declining to charge him with a felony. They said that doing so might hurt his source of income.
So there you have it. In corporate capitalist big business america, not having your income denied is more important than facing justice for permanently fucking somebody's life up, and then leaving the scene of a crime.
District Attorney Mark Hurlbert is a disgrace to america and to justice in general. This spineless piece of shit should lose his job and be disbarred. Allowing someone important to escape justice because their income is more important than justice is NOT how the justice system is supposed to work!
Of course, the victim who was hit — HIS income is threatened by his permanent injuries. But I suppose that doesn't mean anything, because, after all, he's only a lowly liver transplant surgeon. Certainly not as important of a citizen as a corporate manager.
Too big to fail? But oh, this is a plea bargain,so that's OK?

To those who think Obama directing the DOJ to not raid medical marijuana in states where it is legal is more than lip service… here's the reality for some people.. Good thing we're locking up those dangerous cancer patients.
Judge Richard Tallman is an asshole!!!!!!!!! You gotta love how they can't mention that it's medical in the trial. Sure, federal law trumps state law. But to not even allow it to be mentioned in court reeks of injustice.

Google: The new ministry of vice and virtue? At least, if you want equal representation to people using search engines?

Another amazing report on data gathered by OKCupid. Very very interesting stuff. Like for instance, 26% of straight girls had sex with another girl and enjoyed it, yet still considered themselves straight. Another 18% want to. I'd say people have a habit of not self-identifying themselves to the group they actually belong to (i.e. bi).

This is so insidious, I don't see how this is legal. Never missing a payment for 17 years and then the bank forecloses on your home anyway?! This is some serious bullshit shenanigans, and we have corporations and government interference [but lack of true regulation] to thank for this.
