Of course the worst stories (like these) are disproportionately non-white people…. which makes me wonder just how deliberate this type of targeting is.
So glad I took all my money away from these assholes, and dropped it in a local credit union instead!

As for the various debates about if there is space to hold it all…. Of course there is, but also: Convert it to text and there’s no more space issues. There’s not a problem with archiving every word said by every person, ever. It’s audio and video that take up a lot of space.
Anyway… after the IRS just admitted it could read our email without a warrant… And after previous whistleblowing … it’s become clear that the people closer to the truth are the Big Brother Conspiracy Theorists, not the Government Apologists.
And yes, the Obama Administration has a direct hand in making things worse, not better.

This type of facility, if actually scaled up to yottabyte level, could EASILY handle all voice communication on the commercial telephone network. And this isn’t a tinfoil fantasy, it’s being built right now.

Further proof that every time something goes bad, we respond to it by taking away freedom.
Remember how unfair it was when the teacher punished the whole class because ONE person chewed gum?
One would hope our leaders would be more mature than that.
One would be wrong.

THIN BLUE LINE: Officer who put camera in Glen Burnie High bathroom won’t be charged
In a police state, there are two sets of laws. One for “us”, and one for “them”.
If one of “us” were to install a hidden camera into a bathroom at a public high school – We’d go to jail, register as a sex offender, and possibly be forced to live under a highway overpass with no prospects for a job.
But if a cop does it? The system protects him, gives him some kind of “punishment” so people can argue justice was served, but DOES NOT PRESS CHARGES. No sex offender registration for this seemingly-pedophile piggie.
And that’s what’s wrong with this situation, and to a further extent, this country.

TASER THURSDAY: Officer shoots 10-year-old boy with Taser for refusing to clean cop car
At first you think, “maybe the kid spit on his car or did something that would require cleaning”, but no.
This is a piece of shit cop who went to a career day at school, asked kids if they wanted to clean his car, then tasered the one kid who didn’t want to.
Then didn’t get him medical attention after he blacked out.
So-called officer Chris Webb of the New Mexico Department Of Public Safety should be publicly shamed, fired, and barred from any position of power ever again.
His name is CHRIS WEBB. He should be in jail.

VIDEO: Problem Cop Richard Jouppi Punches Wheelchair-Bound 50-Yr-Old Repeatedly In Face
A drunkard threatens to throw a jacket, and slightly slaps a cop in the face…
…vs a cop punching a man in a wheelchair 3 times in a row, and throwing him backward into the ground.
A bit disproportionate, especially considering the cop is supposed to be sober, good, and one who deescalates a situation and stops harm.
Lovely that he threatens the person he was supposedly protecting too.
Turns out, this cop is already a bad cop. He’d already signed an agreement stating if he fucked up again, he’d be fired, after tipping off a sex criminal in direct violation of a department’s interests. He lied about how many times he hit the man in the wheelchair on the report. And they dropped the charges against Drunken Wheelchair Man as well. They probably would have had a good case against Drunken Wheelchair Man if Asshole Officer Richard Jouppi HADN’T gone overboard and lied about it.
Of course if a camera wasn’t around, the cop’s lies would have stood and court and been sustained in a conviction. Nobody is safe from police lies as long as are deemed a magical truth by any judge.

Yup. Jaywalking = death sentence. You can see it in the video. A man running away is not a threat, and certainly a man that’s been shot in the back 4 times is not a threat either.
Supposedly they found a gun on him, but there were none of his fingerprints on him. Doesn’t matter if he did have a gun — carrying a gun is our constitutional right.
Imagine how much more this happened before we had surveillance cameras everywhere — back when the violent crime rate was higher than it is today.
Isn’t it funny how the cop’s name is protected from the public, but people who are arrested are a matter of public record? One set of laws for us, another set of laws for them.
