That’s right. If you rip your own purchased CD to your iPod, harddrive, or other player, Sony considers it that you stole the song.They want you to re-buy your music for every device you listen to it on.

CORPORATIONS, RELIGION, ABUSE OF AUTHORITY: Chevron’s Pipeline Is the Burmese Regime’s Lifeline
In light of the recent “purging” of monks in Burma, I think everyone should stop buying gas from Chevron for a little while. Chevron is grandfathered in and exempt from sanctions against Burma. So do the sanctions really mean that much, or is it for show?

Um…. I’m sure the plaintiff lawyers know that Weird Al exists because parody is considered fair use, and is protected. I’m thinking the lawyers know they are going to lose, but will laugh their way to the bank with Bourne Co’s money in hand.

I just got introduced to Deathlock two weeks ago, it took me many episodes to get into their disturbingly funny sense of humor.
That Family Guy episode was the one that they originally refused to broadcast. It’s definitely protected as parody. It’s like when Faux News sued Al Franken for using “Fair and Balanced.”
