As marijuana arrests go up, rape, robbery, assault, and murder arrests go down.
Correlation, or causation? Given that there is only a finite amount of police resources, I'd say this is causation.
Remember, America: Every pot smoker you put in jail takes enforcement away from real, violent crimes.

The United States violated an innocent man's constitutional rights, secretly shipping him to Syria where he was systematically tortured for 10 months.
We then dismissed his lawsuit, arguing that EVEN IF THE GOVERNMENT VIOLATED HIS RIGHTS, he still has no right to sue for what was done for him, because that might affect national security.
What about the national security of knowing you live in a country where you have actual rights? Not words on paper, but actual rights that mean something?
This must be more of that government transparency Obama promised. Not that he had anything to do with this case, but the Obama administration has repeatedly gone out of its way to ensure that the "laws" that caused this to happen remain on the books.
