I have to admit that I “stole” the photo. I write the caption first, in my head, then looked for a fitting image. I searched for “fish”, “swim”, “float”, “mediocrity”, and somehow wound up with the amputee kid…. I think it works VERY well.

You are like me— you upload the pictures to Flickr a few days before the blog post appears. :)

Well…… It is a bit harder for me to do it in the reverse order of that! :)
Though I have had a problem — I’d like to blog about an event, and have the blog link to the photos. But I’d like the photos to link to the blog in each caption.
But how to link to a blogpost that isn’t up yet?
My solution so far has just to use my YYYYMMDD tags — I know what date an event was, so I can just direct you to http://www.flickr.com/photos/clintjcl/tags/20060208, for example. Even if nothing is there yet.
But I’d really like to be able to include photos ALREADY ON FLICKR **in** the post, but have the flickr photos contain the URL to the post. Seems impossible without saving things to draft, and futzing with URLs more than I care to.

I used your demotivator! Actually I let the post sit as a draft all day waiting to get home and have access to flickr, and I just knew you’d blog it so I linked your post too…
