Unfortunately, 3 days ago, founding member Tom Warrior / Tom Fischer has left Celtic Frost. After no album for 16 years, and a 1-album several-year-tour comeback, Celtic Frost seems to officially be dead again, as of April 9, 2008.
“Celtic Frost singer and guitarist Tom Gabriel Fischer has left Celtic Frost due to the irresolvable, severe erosion of the personal basis so urgently required to collaborate within a band so unique, volatile, and ambitious.”

I know this is an old post, but I just saw this when browsing Type O pictures. I was at this show!!!

I really regret missing half their Jagermeister tour concert because stupid Ram’s Head didn’t know when they started.

Yes. It fucking sucks that we’ll never get to see them again.
Hell, even if they pulled a Misfits and replaced their singer — I just don’t see there being a lot of people who could pull it off.
The Carnivore/Type O Negative legacy is dead. I don’t see who can replace that niche. )~:
